• Department of Payroll
    Payroll is responsible for ensuring employee wages are paid accurately and timely, auditing payroll records, escalating issues to the appropriate department for resolution, compliance with Federal and State reporting requirements, and reporting accurate figures to New York State to be used in calculating the employee retirement benefits. Payroll implements all salary changes, resolution of pay issues, remittance to banks and employee benefit providers and enforces the payroll sections of the District's union contracts.
