About Superintendent's Conference Day
This year’s October Superintendent’s Conference Day has been designed with particular foci on Learning Outcomes (for every grade level and subject area), Implicit Bias, and Culturally Responsive Instruction. The Learning Outcomes have been developed in alignment with the Next Generation Learning Standards, “Rochester Style.” The outcomes are comprised of two essential questions: what should students know and what should students be able to do at the end of the year or at the end of the course? The question: what should students be like, is incorporated, in some cases.
We hope that you will find the day to be informative, interactive in nature, and relevant. Please note: this day and the venues are organized around the start and end times of all employees, ensuring that the venues can adequately accommodate the number of assigned participants. Therefore, it is essential that you follow the schedule, as outlined. In the Reporting location link below, you will find the locations of each workshop. You will stay at your assigned location for the entire day.
If you have questions before October 5th, do not hesitate to email us at Conferencequestions@rcsdk12.org.
