Immunization Requirements for the 2020-2021 School Year
Please be advised that although students are learning remotely for the first 10 weeks of school they must still meet the immunization requirements per New York State Department of Health. If you are unsure if your child meets these requirements please reach out to your child's primary care physician. Students who do not meet the requirements may face exclusion.
NYSDOH regulations now follow the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended immunization guidelines for those immunizations required by Public Health Law 2164. ACIP is composed of medical and public health experts who develop recommendations on how to use vaccines to control diseases in the US, and they are responsible for making vaccine recommendations to the Center forDisease Control and Prevention (CDC)Please see the below link to view the new 2020-2021 Immunization Requirements

Failure to do so could both expose them to illness and result in their being kept out of school (which can then result in missed work time for parents). Your child's doctor is the best place to get vaccinated. If they can't get you in or if they don't have the vaccinations you need, please call the Monroe County Health Department to schedule a appointment.University of Rochester School Based Health Open Clinic (Douglas Campus)Call for an Appointment (585)435-2332Monroe County Department of Public Health Immunization Clinics are held at:111 Westfall Road, First FloorRochester, NY, 14620Phone: (585) 753-5150 (for appointments and UPDATED Recorded Information & Hours)Fax: (585) 753-5160
