    The purpose of the Human Resources Committee is to:
     
    1. Review personnel appointments, promotions, assignments and upgrades;
    2. Review extra compensation resolutions regarding personnel;
    3. Review tentative collective negotiations settlements pending legislative approval by the full Board;
    4. Review diversity initiatives;
    5. Review and approve newly created positions and related job descriptions;
    6. Develop policies related to personnel for consideration by the full Board; and
    7. Review employee recruitment and retention strategies
