  • CIT Lead Teacher-ENL Coach

    The CIT Lead Teacher-ENL Coach will provide additional support to elementary and secondary teachers who are responsible for the instruction of students enrolled in RCSD English as a New Language (ENL) programs. This Lead Teacher shall collaborate with classroom teachers to identify needs and provide assistance that will promote effective teacher instruction and improved student performance of English language Learners (ELL).  This Lead Teacher will need to have a strong knowledge base of instructional practices, substantial experience working with English Language Learners, NYS Assessments for English Language Arts, and Second Language Acquisition.  This is NOT a supervisory position and DOES NOT include evaluation of colleagues.

    Please fill out the form completely, including a detailed "Applicant's Statement." Your statement will be reviewed and rated as part of the application process.  Fill out the header on the "CIT Lead Teacher Confidential Reference Form" (below) and distribute to your SIX confidential references.  References must return these forms directly to the CIT Office.  Submit all forms to the CIT Office, located at 131 West Broad Street; Room 2E-22 or email as a signed attachment to CIT@rcsdk12.orgDeadline for submission is August 1, 2019. Applications and References will be held on file for one year.

  • CIT Lead Teacher CONFIDENTIAL REFERENCE FORM

    Use this confidential reference form for ALL Lead Teacher applications. 
    Please COMPLETE THE HEADING of the form before distributing it to your references.

    The person completing the confidential reference form must submit it directly to the CIT office. 

    Lead Teacher applications require SIX confidential references, including your current principal and RTA Building Representative. Please include teachers or service providers within the same discipline and/or from the same teaching level (primary, intermediate, same cluster, etc.) who are knowledgeable about your professional performance as it relates to this position.
