• CIT Action Research Proposal Form

    Action Research is a systematic inquiry done by teachers to gather information about, and subsequently improve how well their students learn. Although there are a number of models for doing action research, the basic process consists of four steps: identify an area of focus, collect data, analyze and interpret data, and develop an action plan. 

    Click on the link above to download the proposal form. CIT Action Research Proposal with Timeline is due to the CIT Office (CIT@rcsdk12.org) no later than DECEMBER 9th. Teachers conducting Action Research that meet the expectations below will receive 20 hours of PD credit for this school year.

  • CIT Action Research Reflection Cover Sheet

    In order to receive PD credit, each participant in the Action Research project must complete an individual analysis of the work done with the group. Download the form using the link above. 

    In order to be eligible to receive PD credit, all analyses should be collected, attached to this cover page and submitted to CIT@rcsdk12.org no later than May 20, 2022.  Please cut and paste into one document if you can.
