Edison Automotive Students

The sevices performed include oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, steering alignment and much more.
Rochester General Hospital Youth Apprentice Students
Over April Break we had students who work at Rochester General Hospital in the Youth Apprentice Program attend a trip to visit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Our students gained a broader perspective of the abundant opportunities in the world of healthcare, experienced state-of-the-art medical technology and learned about the types of medical research at this hospital. They also engaged in discussions with leading medical professionals.
Students represented East HS, Edison HS, World of Inquiry #58, Integrated Arts and Technology HS, Monroe High School and UPrep Charter School.
Women Leading Business Conference
The program is for students who are interested in learning about the variety of business careers that exist today and will provide opportunities to network with RIT Women in Business students, successful RIT business alumnae, and other accomplished women business leaders. They will learn the multitude of exciting business career paths from marketing, and human resources, to management information systems, to project management and leadership to accounting, finance and international business.
Dixon Schwabl Visit
On behalf of the Department of Career Pathways, Vanguard Collegiate High School students recently visited Dixon Schwabl, a full-service advertising, public relations and digital media agency specializing in unified marketing campaigns and services. Students experienced first hand the types of careers available in advertising, public relations and marketing. They also learned about the importance of branding, the power of using social media, and search engine marketing. Thank you Dixon Schwabl for this great opportunity. Vanguard students did a wonderful job representing their school and our district.
