Title I, Part A: Improving Basic Programs
Title I Parents/Families:
As a Target District, the RCSD must involve parents involve parents in the development of Parent Involvement Policies, School-Parent Compacts and plans to use Title I funds. Additionally, the RCSD must inform parents of the following:- their child’s level of academic achievement on State assessments
- their child’s academic progress in additional programming
- that they may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child’s classroom teacher
- that their child has been taught for 4 or more consecutive weeks by a non-highly qualified teacher (if applicable)
