Rochester Board of Education meetings are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays each month at Central Office, located at 131 West Broad Street in Conference Room 3A/B, unless otherwise noted.

In an effort to ensure transparency and open communication, all Board of Education Meetings will be available via the RCSD’s Facebook, YouTube, and the District’s website at
www.rcsdk12.org/meetings. All materials related to meetings will also be accessible on the day of the meeting via the District’s
Boarddocs page.
An individual may register to speak by contacting the Board of Education office by noon on the day of the meeting, by calling (585) 262-8525 or emailing boardofeducation@rcsdk12.org. No unregistered speaker may address the Board. No individual may speak on behalf of a registered speaker.
The following information must be included: name, telephone number, home address, affiliation (student, parent, city resident or staff) and the topic on which the individual wishes to speak about.
Individuals who do not reside within the City of Rochester do not have the privilege of speaking at meetings, except when an exception is granted by the chair of the meeting at which they are requesting to speak.
Each registered speaker may address the Board for up to three (3) minutes. Speakers utilizing translators, including American Sign Language, may address the Board up to six (6) minutes; the six (6) minutes include up to three (3) minutes for speaker comments and the remaining minutes for translation.
Written comments are still accepted and can be submitted by emailing
Boardofeducation@rcsdk12.org. Comments will be forwarded to Board Members, posted to
Boarddocs, and accepted into the public record; however, these will not be read into the Public Record.
