Beatriz LeBron was born and raised in the Bronx and grew up in a richly diverse neighborhood and embraces all backgrounds as a result. She has three children(2 who are graduates of RCSD), a 6th grader at RCSD School #15, two grandchildren, one who attends pre-k at school #2 and a puppy named Barkley.

LeBron executes Healthi Kids’ Play ROCs campaign, developing strategies and tactics that advance play as a cornerstone of whole child health in schools and in neighborhoods. Key responsibilities include managing projects, convening the Play ROCs advocacy committee and key stakeholders, and engaging youth, families and residents. LeBron has served more than 23 years in the human services sector and has extensive experience as a supervisor, educator, trainer and community health worker.

She holds an Associate’s degree in liberal arts from MCC, Bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher University, Certificate in Finance from Georgetown University and is currently attending Roger E. James Law School at the University of Arizona. She currently chairs the Finance Committee as well as the Human Resources Committee. She is the elected Treasurer of the Monroe County Democratic Party, the Northeast Region Director of the National Hispanic Council of School Board Members, The Board President of Rochester Center for Collaborative Leadership and the Co-Chair for The Monroe County Citizen’s Advisory Committee . Beatriz is passionate about serving others with a  particular focus on disadvantaged communities and works to ensure they have advocacy, linkages to resources and that they are provided supports needed.
