Beatriz LeBron was born and raised in the Bronx and considers herself a true New Yo-Rican (New York Puerto Rican). She grew up in a richly diverse neighborhood and embraces all backgrounds as a result. She has three children, 2 who are graduates of RCSD and currently attending college and a first grader at RCSD School #15. She holds an Associate’s degree in liberal arts from MCC and a Bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Economics.  She is a graduate of LLDP (formerly known as the Hispanic Leadership Development Program through United Way) as well as The Latino Alliance Political Academy. 

LeBron works at Rochester Regional Health as a Community Health Worker and as the Coordinator for the Children’s Leadership Training Institute (CLTI) through the Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) of Greater Rochester.   She is actively involved in the community and is the elected leader of the Democratic Committee’s 25th Legislative District. Beatriz is passionate about serving others with a  particular focus on disadvantage communities and works to ensure they have advocacy, linkages to resources and that they are provided support.
