A 30-day public comment period is established to provide an opportunity for parents and persons in parental relation, teachers, administrators, and distinguished educators appointed pursuant to Education Law section 211-c to submit written comments on the school district's proposed Contract for Excellence; The 30-day public comment period runs from July 9, 2024 through August 7, 2024. The public is invited to provide feedback and suggestions by phone at 585-262-8525 or via email at PublicHearing@rcsdk12.org during this period.

A public hearing for the 2024-25 Rochester City School District Contract for Excellence will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 5:30 pm. To speak at the public hearing or to submit written feedback, please email PublicHearing@rcsdk12.org or call the Rochester Board of Education at 585-262-8525. If you register to speak, please indicate whether you plan to attend in person or virtually. The deadline to register to speak or supply written feedback at the public hearing is no later than noon on July 9.
