Response To Intervention (RtI)

Falling under the umbrella of MTSS, Response to Intervention (RtI) is the practice of providing high quality instruction/intervention matched to student needs. (NASDE, 2006)

In the Rochester City School District, RtI is the framework in which we monitor each student's responsiveness to quality core instruction and strategically targeted interventions in the areas ofacademics, behavior and social-emotional learning.
