Abraham Lincoln School No. 22 Hosts Faith and Blue Event with Rochester Police and Clergy
(October 11, 2024) Students at Abraham Lincoln School No. 22 had a fantastic opportunity to connect with law enforcement and faith leaders during a Faith and Blue event today.
Running from October 11 to October 14, the National Faith and Blue initiative promotes collaboration among community members to foster unity and break down barriers. At School No. 22, students participated in an exciting game of quickball with officers from the Rochester Police Department and representatives from various faith-based organizations.
“Faith and Blue is a unique and meaningful initiative, which allows our students to connect with community members, clergy, and law enforcement in a positive and collaborative environment,” said Dr. Clinton Bell, Principal of Abraham Lincoln School No. 22.
Other events are planned throughout Rochester this upcoming weekend, including a memorial walk on Saturday, October 12 at Youth for Christ, and a church service at Aenon Baptist Church on Sunday, October 13.
