Northeast College Preparatory High School’s Junior ROTC Performs at New York Giants Game

(November 23, 2022) Northeast College Preparatory High School’s Junior ROTC program presented the Nation’s colors prior to the start of the Detroit Lions/New York Giants football game on Sunday, November 20 at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The cadets included: Yeremiah Oyola, Alejandro Sierra, Zye'asia Carrion, AriAnna Walter, Lydiahnisse Silva, and Mariangeliz Castoire.

“It was an awesome event for our students,” said Instructor Eric Meister. “We had some new students who definitely put their nerves aside and they accomplished their mission of performing in front of 10’s of thousands of people. The treatment from the Giants was truly first class.”

Students were able to enjoy the game in a suite with food provided by the Giants. This is the 10^th NFL game for students in the Junior ROTC program. They have also performed at NBA, MLB, and NHL games.
