RCSD Dynamic Leaders: Djinga St. Louis, Principal, RISE Community School No. 106
(November 18, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.
Ms. Djinga St. Louis is the Principal of RISE Community School No. 106. She oversees students in grades Pre-K – 6 in a school that prides itself on being family oriented and focused on student achievement.
“We work hard to uphold our school motto, which is we RISE by lifting others,” said St. Louis. “I love to learn, and watching children grow and develop good academic habits allows me the opportunity to lead and develop leaders.”
An experienced educator with 25 years of service, Ms. St. Louis has been an English Teacher, an Assistant Principal, and the Director of African & African American Studies. Prior to joining RISE Community School No. 106, she served as Principal at Leadership Academy for Young Men.
