RCSD Dynamic Leaders: Lakisha Wilson-Taylor – Principal, Helen Barrett Montgomery School No. 50
(November 8, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.
Ms. Lakisha Wilson-Taylor is the Principal of Helen Barrett Montgomery School No. 50. She oversees students in grades PreK – 8 in a school that has a large English Language Learner (ELL) population and is known for its relationship model building.
Ms. Wilson-Taylor says it has been her purpose to become a Principal. “I am ready to have a greater impact within the District working for students and their families,” said Wilson-Taylor. “I want things to be right for them like I want for my own children.”
Ms. Wilson-Taylor has worked in the District since 2007. She has been an ELA teacher, an Assistant Principal, and a Central Office Administrator.
Please join us in applauding Ms. Wilson-Taylor for her fantastic work to help RCSD scholars succeed!
