RCSD Dynamic Leaders: Gina DiTullio - Principal, Charles Carroll School No. 46

(November 7, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.

Dr. Gina DiTullio is the Principal of Charles Carroll School No. 46.  She oversees students in grades Pre-K – 6 in a school that offers many enrichment programs, including both wind and string instruments, musical theatre, chorus, and afterschool clubs.  Some of the clubs offered are Beekeeping, Lego League, Spanish, Science, Gardening, and Financial Literacy.

“We are really positioned well to have an amazing school year,” said DiTullio.  “I am adding a sensory room this year, as well as a maker space for more hands-on projects.  I have a fantastic faculty devoted to providing an excellent education for all students.”

Dr. DiTullio spent the first 15 years of her career working in the RCSD as an elementary classroom Teacher, Mentor, and Elementary Math Specialist.  She left the District in 2008 to accept a position as a Special Education Assistant Principal at Monroe One BOCES.  She returned to the District in 2019 when she was appointed Principal at School No. 46.

Please join us in applauding Dr. DiTullio for her fantastic work to help RCSD scholars succeed!
