RCSD Dynamic Leaders: Christine Manuele-Turnquist – Principal, Mary McLeod Bethune School No. 45
(November 3, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.
Ms. Christine Manuele-Turnquist is the Principal of Mary McLeod Bethune School No. 45. She oversees students in grades Pre-K – 6 in a school that is grounded in the Leader in Me framework to support students in their academic and social-emotional leadership journey.
“I love being able to have a positive impact on all students as well as supporting teachers in providing high-quality, grade-level instruction,” said Manuele-Turnquist. “This is my first year as Principal of School No. 45, and this school community is such a good fit for me. The excitement the staff has is contagious.”
An employee of the District since January 2001, Ms. Manuele-Turnquist has served as a Music Teacher, an Expanded Learning Resource Coordinator, an Assistant Principal, and a Principal.
Please join us in applauding Ms. Manuele-Turnquist for her fantastic work to help RCSD scholars succeed!
