RCSD Dynamic Leaders: Dave Lincoln – Principal, Virgil I. Grissom School No. 7

(September 21, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.

Mr. David Lincoln is the Principal for Virgil I. Grissom School No. 7.  He oversees students in grades PreK – 6 who are engaged in small group instruction at every grade level.  Additionally, students at School No. 7 enjoy being a part of choir, band, and many other after-school instructional and extracurricular activities.

“There is nothing like having the opportunity to be a part of shaping the minds of our scholars,” said Lincoln.  “As a Principal, I get the best of both worlds.  I look forward to daily interactions with students and teachers in a classroom setting.  I am also excited to see the rollout of our new schedule, which includes extended planning opportunities for all teachers.”

Mr. Lincoln has been working in the District for 22 years.  He has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, lead math teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal.

Please join us in applauding Mr. Lincoln for his fantastic work to help RCSD scholars succeed!
