(August 5, 2022) To celebrate the RCSD’s Summer of Discovery, the District is highlighting staff members who support our summer learning programming.
Ms. Meybhol Sapienza is the summer school principal for the ROC Summer STEAM program at World of Inquiry School No. 58 for students in grades 6 - 8. An Assistant Principal at James Monroe Lower School, Ms. Sapienza is overseeing a General Motors program known as Good to Great, which provides students coaching on new science standards and gives teachers opportunities to grow along with scholars.
“I am passionate about the achievement and success of RCSD scholars,” said Sapienza. “This General Motors program integrates math and literacy throughout the day while also exposing students to new experiences such as Tae Kwon Do and yoga.”
Ms. Sapienza has been an administrator in the Rochester City School District for 17 years. She has served as a teacher, a District-level administrator, and coordinator of Special Education.
