Two RCSD Students Receive Buffalo Bills Memorabilia from Quarterback Josh Allen
(July 27, 2022) Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen could arguably be one of the nicest guys in the NFL. Just ask two Rochester City School District students who literally got the shoes off the quarterback’s feet at Bills training camp at St. John Fisher University on Tuesday, July 26.
Farhan Hussein is going into the 7th grade at Roberto Clemente School No. 8, and his brother Aden will be attending 9th grade at School Without Walls in September. Both were in attendance at Bills camp on Tuesday as guests of the Rochester Rotary. Farhan is a rotary scholar at School No. 8, and Rotarians take scholars on a field trip each month.
At the end of practice as players were leaving the field, fans started to line up to get autographs from players. Farhan and Aden, who did not have any Bills memorabilia, were in a crowd of fans when Allen came over to sign. The Buffalo Bills released video of the encounter, where Allen can be seen taking off his shoes, signing them, and giving them to Farhan and Aden.
“My brother was so excited about the whole thing that he accidentally broke his phone,” said Fartun Hussein, Farhan and Aden’s sister.
Please join us in thanking the Rochester Rotary for giving these students the opportunity to attend Bills camp, and the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen for giving Farhan and Aden an unforgettable piece of Bills memorabilia.
