World of Inquiry Senior Wins State Championship in Track and Field
(June 11, 2024) The Rochester City School District congratulates Perrion Williams, who finished 1st in the 100-meter dash at the New York State Track and Field Championship in Syracuse last weekend.
The World of Inquiry senior, who runs for Franklin’s track team, was one of eighteen RCSD student-athletes who competed in the track and field state championships at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
Williams is a two-time All-Greater Rochester first-team selection and previously won a gold medal in the 300-meter dash at the track and field state championship in Staten Island in March.
The following student-athletes also competed in the state track and field championship this past weekend.
