Phase III Facilities Modernization Hearings

The Rochester City School District shared preliminary plans for Phase 3 of the Facilities Modernization Program (FMP) and gathered feedback at a series of public hearings in October 2022.

The Facilities Modernization Program allows some buildings in our district to be renovated to ensure that students have modern learning spaces and comfortable facilities that they can be proud to attend.

Three public hearings were held in October to gather feedback on these plans:

Phase III Test Fits

Test Fits are concept-level floor plans for each building. They serve to illustrate how the District’s Core Model Program can fit at each building. The Test Fits are used to determine a building’s capacity to house the District’s ideal educational spaces and identify areas of the building that require renovations to create modernized learning environments.
