The Rochester City School District held its Annual National Family Engagement Day on Saturday November 14, 2020. This event was offered for interested parents to learn more about many important topics including:
- Remote Learning Technology
- Remote Schooling / Schooling expectations in a virtual environment
- Student Engagement (Sports, Activities, and Engagement)
- Specialized Programs (Reopening health and safety)
- Social / Emotional Well-Being
A sixth session was also held for families in Spanish about all 5 topics above. The event included opening remarks from both Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small and Board Commissioner Ricardo Adams and was led by Board of Education Commissioners, District Key Leaders, and staff from all areas of the Rochester City School District.
