2024 Read Aloud Day at School 33

On Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., World Read Aloud Day will be celebrated by students, their schools, and proponents of literacy across the world. For over a decade, World Read Aloud Day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read-aloud! The global effort, created by the non-profit LitWorld and sponsored by Scholastic, is celebrated annually in over 173 countries and is all about bringing people together through the shared connection of reading aloud in all of our communities. 

The District's Communications team will stream the event live, making it possible for students living throughout the world to view the activities taking place at School No. 33. The event will also be available to view after on the District's YouTube page.
