The Mission of the Rochester City School District's Bilingual Education & World Language program is to foster students’ individual talents and abilities in a nurturing environment of equality.  The vision of the department is to ensure all students equitable access to a high-quality education and graduate each student as a productive member of society. Our educators strive to engage students in rigorous and relevant grade-level work through the use of high-quality curricular materials and instruction. Students experience high-quality culturally responsive experiences where they are affirmed, seen, and valued. Every student in the district needs equitable experiences that are not dependent on where they live or go to school.
