The Office of Family and Community Engagement assists in the acceleration of student achievement by cultivating and maintaining supportive partnerships between schools and the Rochester community. We know our community has a lot to offer students through assisting with time and resources as volunteers and mentors. We are happy to have you as a partner and look forward to connecting you with one of our schools today!
Virtual Volunteering
There is also a virtual volunteering option available. Virtual volunteers will need access to a computer/laptop with a camera. - Background and Reference Check
- Attend a mandatory 1-hour In-Person or Virtual Volunteer Orientation Session
- Assignment to a school/program (based on volunteer skill set and individual school needs)
What sort of volunteer needs are there?Needs vary from school to school but most students are in need of additional attention or support with their education.
