(November 23, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.
Mr. Jacob Scott is the Principal of Edison Career & Technology High School. He oversees students in grades 9 – 12 in a school that provides more than just a high school education. Edison is one of only two schools in the District that offers students the ability to get hands-on training and on-the-job experience that ties into their class instruction.
“I am a proud graduate of this school, and my motivation and desire to lead as its Principal stems from a rich history of family members who have come before me as fellow graduates,” said Scott. “I truly believe in everything that Edison stands for, and I bleed maroon and gray.”
An employee in the RCSD for more than 20 years, Mr. Scott has served as a Kindergarten Teacher, a School Counselor, an Assistant Principal, and a Principal. He also served as a basketball Coach at Edison for 12 years.
