(November 22, 2022) The Rochester City School District is fortunate to have dynamic leadership in all of its school buildings, and we are shining a bright spot on team members supporting students during the 2022 – 23 school year.
Ms. Marlene Blocker is the Principal of East Upper School. She oversees students in grades 9 – 12 in a school known for its Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings, a school-based health clinic, dental suite, and barbershop.
“The brilliance and uniqueness of each scholar are what motivates me to come to work every day. No two students are alike, and I love to see how we can best meet each of their individual needs to get them to graduation and beyond.”
An educator with 32 years of experience as a Teacher, Ms. Blocker has also been an Administrator in the RCSD.
