Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers-Small Announces Leadership Appointment
(August 27, 2021) The Rochester City School District is pleased to announce the appointment of William Cronmiller as Acting Principal of Enrico Fermi School No. 17. He officially begins his duties as Acting Principal on August 27, 2021.
Mr. Cronmiller takes on this new role after serving as the Assistant Principal of Enrico Fermi School No. 17 since 2015. He also served as an Assistant Principal at East High School, All City High School, and Dr. Freddie Thomas High School. In addition, he served as a Coordinator of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics at Dr. Freddie Thomas High School. Mr. Cronmiller began his career in the RCSD 26 years ago as a physical education teacher at the John Marshall Learning Center. He understands well the needs of Enrico Fermi School No. 17 and has been an integral member of the school leadership team and community. Mr. Cronmiller earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in physical education, with a concentration in adapted physical education, from the SUNY College at Cortland. He also earned a master’s degree in educational administration from St. John Fisher College.
The District will engage in a collaborative process with stakeholder involvement to select the next permanent principal of Enrico Fermi School No. 17. We thank Mr. Cronmiller for taking on and working with the school community to lead during this transition.
