Dear Rochester City School District Students and Families,

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to school on September 8, 2021. We have been busy working to make sure all of our students, families, and staff are prepared for a successful in person opening of schools in September, including the building of student schedules, preparing school buildings, organizing staffing, and more.

As you may be aware, there is a shortage of bus drivers throughout our community. Our team has been working closely with our transportation providers to develop contingency plans to address the bus driver shortage.

Unfortunately, we have reached a point where we must enact our emergency transportation plan, which requires us to change bell times for some of our elementary schools.
