  • The Summer Learning program prioritizes creating conditions for healing and development, including opportunities to recover credits, explore new skills and experiences, and to connect with peers and caring adults.

Middle Grades Programs

  • Who: Current 7th and 8th graders, targeted selection
    When: 4 weeks, 5 days a week in-person
    Where: Monroe Upper and Lower, Recievership Schools K-8

    What is it?

    • Introduction to 2021-2022 Grade Level Standards
    • Hands On
    • Social Emotional Learning
    • Experiential Learning (MBK)
    • 70% attended during the previous school year
    • Social Justice Themes

    What it is not?

    • Not sitting in desks all day
    • Not school as usual
    • Not all day long


Commencement Grade Programs

  • Who: Current 9-12 graders, targeted selection
    When: 6 weeks, 5 days a week in-person
    Where: Receivership Secondary Schools and School No. 3

    What is it?

    • Marking Period Recovery
    • 70% attended during the previous school year
    • Social Emotional Learning/ Advisement Period

    What it is not?

    • Not sitting in desks all day
    • Not school as usual


Elementary Programs
