Good News from Rochester Schools

 CTE Students at RGH

Students at Rochester General Health System are doing wonderful work. These students achieved a GPA of 4.0 during the second marking period. Because of their hard work, students were invited to have lunch with the president and CEO of RGH.

Over the last four years, students from the District participating in the Co-Op Youth Apprenticeship Program have had the opportunity to visit premier heal...thcare institutions such as Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, New York Presbyterian, and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. By visiting other healthcare systems, students gain valuable insight into the health field. The field trips provide students with the perfect opportunity to tour state-of-the-art medical labs, and hear from experienced medical professionals regarding their specialties and medical advances in their fields.

This past March, students visited Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center, which is one of the largest and most diverse academic medical centers in the country and the only academic medical center in central Ohio.
