Information Management and Technology (IM&T) provides district-wide support for all information systems development, installation, and integration. IT also provides support for the District's application systems - instructional and business operations. This area provides technical and systems support for the planning, acquisition, implementation, training and maintenance for the data and voice networks, micro-computer/workstations, and business and student applications. Installation, maintenance and operation of the telephone and data communications networks are major responsibilities of this area. Programming, problem determination and resolution, training, customer service and preventive maintenance of systems software are the core competencies of this organization. It is this sector's responsibility to keep the District's data safe and to provide redundancy in the event of a catastrophic event or equipment failure.
