    School of the Arts Health Offices are responsible for the assessment, monitoring, protection, and nurturing of students' physical well-being and health literacy. The SOTA Health Office accomplishes this by increasing students' access to health assessment and care at school, home, and the community. 

    THE SCHOOL NURSE’S ROLE: 

    Provide Emergency Care as needed and plan for health related emergencies, 

    Provide nursing assessment of health concerns, 

    Establish care and medication regimens in order to keep children in the classroom, 

    Promote student achievement and success.
