MEDICATION REQUIREMENTS

ALL OVER THE COUNTER AND PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION:

Medication taken during school hours needs to be ordered / renewed yearly by a doctor and signed off by a parent. Unless ordered self-carry, medications must be brought in by an adult.

EMERGENCY MEDICATIONS SUCH AS INHALERS OR EPI-PENS:

Students will not be allowed to attend any field trip or participate in a sport without having the proper medications and physician orders available.

If the student has an emergency condition such as asthma or allergy, and it is no longer a concern, we will need a note from the doctor indicating this, or an updated physical exam removing the need for medication.
