Deon K. Rodgers is a lifelong resident of Rochester, NY. He and his wife, Joyce, have a daughter and two sons. He is an East High alum (Class of 1993) who enjoys basketball, fishing and spending time with his family. Deon has degrees from Monroe Community College, College at Brockport, St. John Fisher College and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the Warner School of Education. He has served as an assistant principal, program director, and, most recently, he served as the vice principal of the Freshman Academy at East where he led our Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Social Studies departments. Mr. Rodgers firmly believes in educating the whole child. His work as a leader is focused on relationship building, restorative practice and cultivating high quality instructional practices in our classrooms.
