Global II Classroom Webpage
Hello scholars and parents,
I am Mr. Travis and I am entering my 4th year of teaching. I spent 2 years teaching in the Webster Central School District and have spent my last 2.5 years teach here at East High School. During my time as a teacher I have taught US History, Economics, Global I and now Global II. This school year I will be teaching six sections of Global II which is a Regents course. I thoroughly enjoy enhancing my knowledge of Global History, American History, Government and Economics, and I enjoy educating my students about the importance of understanding our past. I'm looking forward to another great year working alongside you and our scholars.
I am a graduate of the St. John Fisher College (2012) where I was a first generation scholar, and majored in History and Education. I completed my masters in Education at Brockport in 2014. I spend my spare time coaching baseball or running baseball camps. I also enjoy improving my practice by reading and traveling to different cities and historic locations around the country.
Please feel free to keep in touch with me for any issues/concerns regarding class, homework, etc. Email is the easiest way, but students can come and see me in room D-241 whenever I am not teaching. I look forward to a successful year with all of your scholars!
