    Susan Roberts Meier, a graduate of the Warner School, works with students in the administrative certification and doctoral programs for educational leadership. She is a former secondary school principal, assistant superintendent for instruction, and middle and high school English teacher who has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

    She was one of the founding members of Odyssey Academy, a secondary public, non-selective, school of choice in Greece Central School District, in 1991, and retired as principal at Odyssey in 2014. Meier’s accomplishments include leading Odyssey to win the Intel Schools of Distinction designation in the area of leadership. During her tenure at Greece, Odyssey earned national recognition and was ranked as one of the best secondary schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
     
    Meier has provided professional develop across the region in the areas of instructional leadership, using data to improve school results, and research-based instructional practices. Her areas of interest are increasing instructional leadership practices of school administrators, educational innovation, and school improvement.
