    Freshman Academy Vice Principal




    Callie Andler relocated to Rochester, NY in 2003 from MA, where she graduated from Stonehill College with a BA in Psychology. She completed her MS Ed. in school and community counseling from the University of Rochester in 2005.  For the next thirteen years, Ms. Andler served as a middle and high school counselor, testing coordinator and registrar in the RCSD at both Charlotte High School and the Leadership Academy for Young Men.  Ms. Andler began her path into leadership in 2018 when she completed her MS Ed. in educational leadership at the University of Rochester and, subsequently, served as an assistant principal in the Greece Central School District. In 2022, Ms. Andler was thrilled for the opportunity to return home to the RCSD as a vice principal at East Upper School.  This year, she is transitioning to a new role as vice principal for the Freshman Academy at East.  Ms. Andler’s leadership work has focused on the elements of culturally responsive and sustaining framework, social-emotional learning, and restorative practice.  She believes in providing equitable educational experiences for all students and is focused on elevating students’ voices as part of our school improvement efforts.
