Director of Special Education

Jason Marc George, a graduate of SUNY Geneseo, is the Director of Special Education for grades 6-12 at East High School. He is a former Director of Alternative Educational Programs and Special Education School Improvement Specialist in the Rochester City School District. Jason was formerly a teacher at East High School for 5 years. At that time, he worked with a team of administrators and teachers to pilot the first Autism Spectrum Disorder classroom for secondary level students in the RCSD. In addition to his work as an administrator and teacher, he has worked as a sports coach for our inner city youth for over 11 years. Jason is excited to be back where his teaching career started and to work in conjunction with the University of Rochester.
