Michele Fabozzi Sadik began her career as an elementary teacher in the RCSD after relocating from the Albany area, driven by a strong desire to directly engage with students, teachers, and families. She quickly developed a passion for promoting educational equity for students and families where English is a new language. Michele taught ENL in both elementary and high schools, serving not only as an educator but also as a mentor and district instructional coach, always seeking to stay connected to the classroom and her community.

In 2018, she joined the East High EPO administrative team as Vice Principal, and in 2022, she became the Director of ENL. While she valued her leadership role, she deeply missed the direct, daily interactions with students, teachers, and families that had always been the foundation of her work. Michele is honored and excited to return to East for the 2024-2025 school year, eager to reconnect with the community she loves.

Michele holds a B.A. in English Literature and Education from SUNY Potsdam, a Master of Science in Education from SUNY Brockport, completed her TESOL certification coursework at Nazareth College of Rochester, and earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Building and District Leadership from the University of Rochester.
