Grade 6Anne RosdahlAnne Rosdahl is the 6th grade counselor at East Lower School. She grew up in Croton-on-Hudson, NY and after graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a BS in psychology in 2013, she attended the University of Rochester, where she graduated with her Master’s in School Counseling in 2016. At East, she serves on the Restorative Practices Committee and the Mental Health Team. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and doing projects around her house.
Grade 7Brett CrandallBrett Crandall is the School Counselor for Grade 7 in the East High Lower School. Mr. Crandall was born in Lyons, New York, where he ran Cross Country and Track. He attended and graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a degree in Communication. After graduating from college, he worked for two years as an Admissions Counselor at Keuka College. He then attended graduate school at SUNY-Oswego and earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Services. Mr. Crandall has been a school counselor at East High School for 11 years. He was an Assistant Coach in the East High Boys Basketball program from 2005-2013 (modified head coach 2012-2013) before becoming Assistant Varsity Coach at Northeast College Prep High School. He is also the Head Statistician for East High Baseball, which he started before working at East High School. Professional committees Mr. Crandall participates in our Grief Resource Network (GRN), NCAA District-Wide Core Course Submission Committee, East High Code of Conduct and FLCC Advisory Board. Mr. Crandall is also the NCAA Counselor for any students at East High who have a desire to participate in sports in college.
Grade 8
Kimberley ScottKim Scott is the School Counselor for Grade 8 in the East Lower School. She was born and raised in Rochester and graduated from Franklin High School. She works with the Peer Mediation team and is a member of the Lower School Mental Health Team. Kim attended SUNY Fredonia for Music Education and earned her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from SUNY Brockport. She has lived in Toronto, NYC and Baltimore, but seems to keep coming back to Rochester! J One of her passions is singing! She has performed professionally in Rochester, Toronto and NYC. She LOVES travelling! She has been to 10 different countries and can’t wait to go to her 11, 12…. Kim is also facilitator for Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP); an international, grassroots organization that offers experiential workshops and provides spaces that allow us to discover the “Transforming Power” we each have within to change our lives.
