Why Workshop?

Scholars enrolled in Reader's Writer's Workshop will be learning lifelong lessons about reading, writing and the importance that they have on the world outside of East. Throughout the year, scholars will be participating in a series of mini lessons facilitated by me and then left to let their creative juices flow through all types of genres! Scholars will be publishing their own pieces through a variety of online publishing websites such as Wattpad, Goodreads, AllPoetry, Teen Ink magazine and even be invited to present their work at planned Open Mic events here at East!
