Mr. Christopher Bethmann

Chris Bethmann grew up just outside of Rochester, NY in Henrietta. He completed his undergraduate work in International Relations and Spanish at the University of Rochester. After college, Chris moved to Nashville, Tennessee after joining the 2013 Teach for America Corps. He returned to Rochester and completed his Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Langauge (TESOL) and Adolescence Education in Spanish.

In 2015, Chris joined the Rochester City School District at East High School, where he currently teaches English as a Second Langauge (ESOL).

When he is not in the classroom, Chris loves to play the guitar, write songs, read, cook, and travel.
