Children Around the world have the right to a great Education

I started my career as an English Teacher in my native Santiago, Chile where I worked in the urban High School setting, then I had the opportunity to travel to the UK to implement the ESP (English for Specific Purposes) curriculum for engineers at the University of Santiago, where I graduated in 2001 as Educator of English as a Second Language.
In 2002 I traveled to the United States as an exchanged student looking forward to learning about the American culture and its Literature.  I saw the amazing opportunity to help people from all over the world to learn English and I enrolled the Master Program in ESL (English as Second Language) at Nazareth College where I graduated in 2011, right after I started working for the Rochester City School District, where I had the opportunity to work in many different school settings as a substitute teacher.  Last year I learned about the new East High and the amazing project they had in mind. I wanted to become part of it, and here I am.
My American dream has become a reality, I am able to use all my skills to help children from many different parts of the world, I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love the most, getting to know the world through English, which is my love and passion that I shared with my daughter, who is my life and travelled partner.
