In February 2015, NYS modified what needed to be part as part of the regulations.  As a regulation, information such as HIV/AIDS, and self examination must be taught; New York State added information on Heroin as well.

This document from New York State is exactly what information and skills need to be taught at each of the grade levels. Essentially, this is the Health Education Curriculum.
