Ms. Joanne Bringley

I write my name as "Joanne" but all my life I have been called "Joanie".

I have been with the City School District for 14 years.  I am new at East this year.

For the past 14 years I have been at Edison Tech as a teacher in Special Education.

 When I read about this very exciting experience at East with the University of Rochester I wanted to be a part of it.

I applied, was interviewed and observed and then chosen as a teacher in Special Education.

I am thrilled to be here.  

In October 2016 I was asked to take on a new position here at East.  I am the Primary Teacher in F104.  

I have never met a group of students as kind and courageous as these scholars.

Take a look at their smiling faces.

They bring out the best in me every single day.

I have completed several hours of Professional Development over the summer in preparation for this position.

I am excited and ready to dive in.
