Health and Mobility Support

These services are designed to improve your child’s understanding of spatial and environmental concepts and use of information he or she receives through the senses (e.g., sound, temperature, vibrations) for establishing, maintaining and regaining orientation and line of travel. They are provided to students with visual impairments. A school nurse or paraprofessional provides services that are designed to address your child’s speciﬁc health needs, as documented by his or her physician, to ensure a safe educational environment.
