Trained and educated skilled craftspeople with an understanding of math, science, processes and technology use the machines and tools to make things designed by engineers. Sometimes they go on to become engineers or business owners themselves,

As you look around our world you would be hard pressed to find something not manufactured, whether it is made in a small machine shop or a large manufacturing facility,
Most things get their start being made by someone using some kind of manufacturing equipment.
